| Wednesday, September 03, 2014 – Coldwell Banker Commercial WESTMAC, a leading Los Angeles-based commercial brokerage firm, proudly announces the promotion of Timothy C. (“T.C.”) Macker, Jr., to the position of Managing Director. The promotion is to take place September 1, 2014. Currently Executive Vice President of the company, Mr. Macker joins Jim Bailey, Senior Vice President and General Manager, and Timothy C. Macker, Sr., President, in rounding out the three-person executive team that manages the company.
In announcing this addition to the management team, Timothy C. Macker, Sr. underscored the need to revamp the management structure to better align the company’s strengths in how it does business today with the likely changes and challenges in the business environment they envision for the future. Mr. Macker, Sr., said, “We now have in place the team leaders to best capitalize on the ever-changing face of our cyclical industry. T.C. is completely in touch with those changes so unique to the evolution of our technology, our changing client base, and the way we will be doing business tomorrow. He is the perfect complement to Jim Bailey, who is our team leader quarterbacking the staff, administration, and client relations efforts….and he’s a true talent in our industry.” T.C. Macker stated that his promotion is “an exciting opportunity for me to help our company continue our vision of better servicing our clients today AND tomorrow!” T.C. has been a top producer since joining the firm in 2002. In addition to his outstanding individual brokerage production, he has led the effort to coordinate the company’s training and website initiatives over the past several years. In his new role he will focus on education/training, recruitment, business promotion, and public relations for the company. T.C. is a graduate from Boston College. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). T.C. is a board member for Catholic Big Brothers and Big Sisters and a member of the UCLA Dream Team. Jim Bailey will continue to focus on administration, staffing, customer relations, and oversight of property management initiatives. Timothy Macker, Sr. will continue in his role as President, overseeing the financial and strategic planning priorities for the company. Each of the company’s executives will also continue to engage in transactional activities with their respective clients.
